New Urgent Care Setting

In October 2015 the new NHS Urgent Care Centre will open at Seaton House, London Road, Nottingham NG2 4LA (next to the BBC building).

The centre will offer assessment and treatment for health conditions that are urgent but non-life threatening such as:

  •  Minor burns and scalds
  •  Minor head injury with no loss of consciousness
  •  Skin infections and animal bites
  •  Suspected broken bones, sprains and strains (X-ray will be available on-site)
  •  Eye infections and minor eye injuries  

No appointment is needed; just drop in between 7am and 9pm 365 days a year

The new NHS Urgent Care Centre will replace the existing NHS walk-in services:

    Walk-in service at the Health Centre, Upper Parliament Street

o The walk-in service will end 30th September.

o The Health Centre premises will remain open to provide health services to patients registered with the Platform One Practice 

    Clifton Nurse Access Point, Clifton Cornerstone

o The walk-in service will end on 28th September

o Treatment Room (regular wound dressing service) and phlebotomy (blood testing) will continue to be provided from Clifton Cornerstone 

    Walk-in Centre, Seaton House, London Road

o The current walk-in service will end on 30th September

o The new NHS Urgent Care Centre will open from the same location on 1st October
