THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT DURING THESE DIFFICULT TIMES
It is very important that you do not attend the practice, even for booked appointments if you:
- Have a new continuous cough
- Have a fever (high temperature)
- Have a change to or loss of your sense of smell OR taste
- Have been told to quarantine following travel
- Have been asked to self isolate by NHS track and trace
- Have been a close contact of someone who has tested positive for COVID-19
- Are waiting for the results of a COVID-19 test
If you have a booked appointment and any of these apply you MUST NOT ATTEND THE SURGERY. Please phone us on 0115 9401007 BEFORE your appointment and we will advise you further.
The Covid-19 vaccination programme has now begun. When it is your turn to be vaccinated, the NHS will contact you. Please do not contact the surgery.
Please be patient and wait to be contacted.
In line with expert guidance, the first priority for vaccination is care homes residents and staff, people over the age of 80 and frontline health and care workers.
For further information on why you are being asked to wait for your Covid-19 vaccine, please read the information on the GOV.UK website or this leaflet.
Ordering Medication:
You can order medication on line, in person and by post. Please note that we do not take medication requests over the telephone. Once we have processed your request it will be sent electronically to your nominated pharmacy.
Please ensure that you allow at least 2 - 3 working days notice so that we can process your request during the Covid pandemic. If sending by post please allow a minimum of 7 working days.
Appointments:
All patients are being offered a telephone appointment in the first instance by a doctor. The practice will continue to have processes to ensure childhood immunisation and other essential care continues.
